  • How do I see photos of animals in the care of CAC?

  • Does CAC provide services for wildlife?

    As a standard protocol, no CAC does not provide services for wildlife. For questions or concerns regarding wildlife, we recommend contacting the Wildlife Rehab Center of Minnesota through their website. You can also contact your local DNR office for information.

  • How can CAC help me find my pet?

    CAC can help you find your pet in several ways:

    1. If your pet is missing near an area CAC serves, visit Report a Lost Animal & we’ll share a lost animal flyer on social media to spread the word.

  • What should I do if I've found an animal?

  • Where does CAC house animals?

    CAC does not operate a facility, rather we arrange impound contracts with veterinary clinics and rescues to provide animals with care while they complete a required legal holding period.

  • Can I adopt an animal from CAC?

    CAC does not adopt animals out directly to the public, rather we transfer animals to local 501c3 rescues for foster home placement. The rescues provide the animal with veterinary care and generally after 1-2 weeks the animal is listed on the rescues website for adoption. If you are interested in adopting an animal that has been in CAC’s care, complete our Contact Form including the animal’s Case Number and we can refer you to which of our rescue partners the animal was transferred to.
