ANIMALS IN OUR CARE
The animals shown below are either currently in our care or were previously housed with us during the current calendar year.
Companion Animal Care & Control provides both animal control and impound services from our Companion Animal Center in Oakdale, Minnesota. Law enforcement officers from our contracting jurisdictions have 24/7 access to the facility to safely bring in stray, lost, or abandoned animals, as well as animals impounded when owners are taken into custody through arrest or during a medical emergency.
Please note: Animals impounded outside of normal business hours may not appear on this page until the following morning. Each animal is held for the legal hold period of 5 days as required by MN Chapter 1721.0520.
Companion Animal Care & Control does not adopt animals directly to the public. Once animals complete their hold period and remain unclaimed, they are transferred to trusted, licensed 501(c)(3) rescue partners who help them find permanent homes.
